We are seeking a motivated Hardware Engineering Intern to join our engineering team. The intern will gain hands-on experience in hardware design, prototyping, testing, and integration for UAV systems. This role provides an opportunity to work on real-world projects, contribute to innovative solutions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, assembly, and testing of UAV hardware systems (electronics, power systems, and mechanical integration).
- Support PCB design, schematic capture, and circuit testing.
- Conduct lab experiments and record test data to evaluate hardware performance.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to integrate sensors, motors, and imaging systems.
- Research and evaluate new components, materials, and manufacturing methods.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and propose improvements.
- Document designs, test results, and technical procedures.
Must Have
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in electronics, circuit design, or embedded systems.
- Familiarity with CAD tools (Altium, Eagle, KiCad, or similar) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with soldering, wiring, or prototyping hardware preferred.
- Basic understanding of UAVs, robotics, or mechatronic systems is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
